WELCOME
SUNSHINE TREE COMMUNITY ASSOC, INC.
The Sunshine Tree subdivision was developed in three phases in the early to mid 1980's by Cassidy. Sunshine Tree Community Association organized in 2002 "To Promote a Sense of Community through Group Action for the Betterment of the Neighborhood". Meetings are held the first Thursday of each month, 7:00 P.M., at 1019, Nancy Bass' residence. All residents are welcome.
The drainage project that we all complained about IS WORKING. The water drainage is much better controlled.
MINUTES FROM MAY 3, 2012 MEETING
BEAUTIFICATION - Jessie Harris repaired the sign at the second entrance. Jessie also attended a workshop on Irrigation and the conservation of our water. It was suggested that we use a rain barrel to catch the rainwater and use this to water our plants thus conserving our water. Phyllis Parsons attended the Lake Celanup day.
SAFETY AND CRIME WATCH - We all need to keep an eye out for our neighbors as in the past. There are about 10 houses in the neighborhood that are vacant. Call the police if you see suspicious activity in any of them. Better safe (and nosy) than sorry!!!
Baby duck population went from 18 to 2. Also one of the larger ducks has a fish hook under her wing. Please be cautious when fishing in the ponds.
WELCOMING/COMMUNICATIONS/MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE - Lots of new neighbors. Be friendly!
Condolences to Sharon Minnich in the loss of her sister and also to the family of Mary Canova.
There were 9 neighbors present.
Refreshments were provided by Glen Minnish - sloppy joe on bun and cupcakes.
NEXT MEETING June 7.
POND AREA AND FISHING and BABY DUCKLINGS
Be careful around the baby ducklings. DO NOT LET YOUR ANIMALS CHASE THEM. DO NOT TRY TO CATCH THEM.
Please remember that the pond area fishing is by pole only. NO NET FISHING! Also this is a CATCH AND RELEASE area. If you see someone net fishing or taking home the catch, please report them to the Storage Center at 298-6297. They are allowing our residents to have some fun in their ponds so do not abuse the privilege!
